Christopher is the founder and CEO of Scholly, a mobile app that gives students a fast and simple way to find scholarships for college. According to the New York Times, in three years, Scholly has been downloaded over a million times and has helped students raise more than $50 million.
Grey appeared on Shark Tank and received a $40,000 investment from two Sharks, after that, Scholly was the number one seller in the App store for two weeks and received about 8,000 hits per second.
In an interview with the New York Times, Grey gave some advice for upcoming entrepreneurs, “When you’re an entrepreneur, you can work eight months on a deal and it may not go through. Markets change. Investors change their minds. When that happens, be resilient. Students may not be used to dealing with that yet. If a little boy from Birmingham, Ala., can go to college, pay for it and build a successful company before the age of 25, so can you.”
