Steve Harvey Teams Up With Shark Tank Producer For New Series

Prepare your pitches ladies and gentlemen, Steve Harvey and ABC Shark Tank Producer Mark Burnett want to hear your ideas.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the duo have come together for a new business competition series at ABC. The untitled series brings together rival entrepreneurs to competitively pitch their ideas head-to-head in front of a live studio audience, no pressure. It is then up to the audience – not the sharks in the tank – to decide which entrepreneur will receive funding.

Harvey wil handle the hosting duties and views this new venture as an extension of where his passion will take him in his career. “I’m thrilled to have another passion project on the ABC schedule. This is just the type of show that gives folks a vehicle to breathe life into their dreams,” he said in a statement.

“My dream has been to work with Steve, and this is the perfect project for us to do together. He is an amazing talent and has an enormous heart for entrepreneurs, some of whom will get their business jump-started because of him,” Burnett said.

ABC has ordered 13 episodes of the series to debut later this year, stay tuned.
